Terms of use

Purpose

Phare lets you create a single public page (phare.in/username) gathering links, with visual customisation and anonymous statistics. By creating an account, you accept these terms.

Account

  • You provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for activity on your account.
  • A username is unique; some usernames are reserved or unavailable.
  • Registration may be open, invite-only or closed depending on the period.
  • Your page is only public once your email address is verified.

Plans and payment

The Glow plan is free. Paid plans (Spark, Beam) unlock additional features and may be open or closed to subscription depending on the period. The pricing in force is shown at the time of subscription.

Content and prohibited uses

The following are notably prohibited on Phare pages:

  • illegal or hateful content, or content infringing the rights of others;
  • impersonating a person, a brand or an institution;
  • phishing, malware and deceptive links;
  • spam and abusive automated use of the service.

Any breach may lead to suspension or deletion of the account, without notice in case of serious abuse.

Content ownership

You remain the owner of the content you publish. You grant us only the technical rights needed to host and display your page.

Service availability

Phare is provided « as is ». We do our best to keep the service available without being able to guarantee it 100%. Features may change over time.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your space. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms.

Your data

The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account.

Changes to the terms

Notable changes to these terms will be flagged on this page, with the date above updated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of France. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of Saint-Nazaire.
